Don Majkowski had a big season for the Green Bay Packers in 1989

QB Don Majkowski made it to his only Pro Bowl of his NFL career in 1989 for the Green Bay Packers.  Majkowski played in 16 games (all starts) for the Packers in 1989 and he completed 353 of 599 passes (58.9%) for 4,318 yards with 27 TD passes and 20 INTs (82.3 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 75 times for 358 yards (4.8 ypc) with 5 TD carries for the Packers.  He truly was the “Magic Man” for the Packers in 1989.  Majkowski played in 68 games (49 starts) in his six years with the Packers and he completed 889 of 1,607 passes (55.3%) for 10,870 yards with 56 TD passes and 56 INTs (73.5 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 199 times for 1,037 yards (5.2 ypc) with 9 TD runs for the Packers.  Majkowski was 22-26-1 (45.8%) as the Packers’ starting QB.  He is #6 in Packers’ history in passing yards with 10,870 and he is also #8 in TD passes with 56.  Majkowski was the Packers’ starting QB directly in front of Brett Favre.
